8 hours at Children's Hospital LA under close monitoring
Around 7 months we did a “peanut challenge” at Children’s Hospital LA, which he failed miserably. The theory was, if he wasn’t fully allergic, we could introduce peanuts into his diet to prevent future allergies. This was the second round of peanut butter consumed, at less than 1 tsp. They stopped the challenge immediately, and almost had to give him adrenaline/epi-pen.
