Baked potato fries was the only thing this poor kid could eat at the Italian restaurant.
PSA: we loved going to Bacchanal buffet at Ceasar’s Palace, but we won’t be going there anymore. Rens was looking for a safe dessert for Jett, when he saw caramel popcorn with a sign that said vegan and gluten free. He asked the chef what else Jett could eat besides the popcorn, and he said there’s butter in the popcorn! At this point, Jett had already eaten 1 piece. I was pissed and asked to talk to the manager. He was not understanding at first, tried to deflect by saying they outsourced their popcorn, and seemed to be uneducated in allergies. Jett was becoming visibly lethargic and said he needed to go to the bathroom. Momma bear mode was about to come out, when he said the “least” he could do was comp our meals and take the sign down. So, we got our $120 back, but not worth the scare and discomfort Jett felt. Luckily it wasn’t an anaphylactic reaction.
